Early Help provides the following services to help your child:

School Early Intervention
Our therapeutic companions provide one on one support for your child in their classroom based on their needs. Common issues addressed include: modeling of appropriate behaviors, strengthening of social skills and helping with emotional regulation. Therapeutic companions can also carry out goals provided by outside specialists such as occupational therapists and speech pathologists. Therapeutic companions serve as a bridge between your child and his/her environment. The ultimate goal is for your child to become independent of this support. Early Help provides highly qualified therapeutic companions for children that have special needs.

Home Early Intervention
Our therapeutic companions works with your child at home to help strengthen their skills through play. Common issues addressed include: working on communication and social interaction, staying on task, working on non-preferred tasks and expanding on play. Generally a session will last between 60 to 90 minutes.

Facilitated Play-Dates
Facilitated play-dates are play-dates with assistance. A therapeutic companion will provide tools and techniques to bring children together in order to have a productive and connected play-date. This assists the child with extra support to facilitate social interaction and strengthen friendships. It allows the child to feel successful and more confident when interacting and relating to their peers.

Parent Consulting
Parent consulting is focused on supplying parents with the necessary techniques to help stengthen the child-parent relationship. They are 60 minute sessions, on the phone or in person, to discuss various issues that a parent may be struggling with.
